Trip Reports
To me, no vacation is complete without profuse wildlife watching and outdoor adventure. Almost nothing brings me greater joy than traveling around the world to some of Earth’s most biodiverse areas, on the hunt for unique and elusive wildlife—particularly mammals and birds.
I usually keep detailed mammal and bird species logs on trips so I can be certain which species I saw, where I saw them, when, and the conditions of the encounter. I also take note of naturalistic observations and outdoorsy experiences on trips so I can blog about my trips and revisit them at a later time. I compile all the notes I take into trip reports that are posted here.
Most of my trip reports cover mammals specifically—the group of animals I am most interested in—in detail. I also recount the birds I see on trips to a lesser extent. As of November, 2024, I’ve started posting trip reports on mammal enthusiast website Mammalwatching.com, as well as right here on my blog. Please feel free to take a look at them!
